1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the TruckYou Shipper App, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

The TruckYou app allows users to:

• Create shipment requests
• Schedule pickups and deliveries
• Track shipment status
• Make secure payments for shipping services
• Access invoices, proof of pickup, and proof of delivery

3. User Account & Authentication

To use certain features of the app, users must register using their mobile number and verify login using OTP.

Users agree that:

• The mobile number provided must be valid and accurate
• OTP verification is required for secure login
• They are responsible for activity conducted through their account

4. Shipment Information

Users must provide accurate shipment details including pickup address, delivery address, shipment description, and product weight. Incorrect details may result in delays, cancellations, or extra charges.

5. Pricing & Payments

Shipment charges are calculated based on shipment details such as weight, distance, and service type. Payments are securely processed through Razorpay.

• TruckYou does not store your card or banking details
• Payments are handled by Razorpay’s secure payment system
• Shipment requests may be cancelled if payment fails

6. Pickup & Delivery Proof

TruckYou may collect and store Proof of Pickup (POP) and Proof of Delivery (POD) for shipment verification and service confirmation.

7. Location Services

The app may request access to your location to support pickup detection, shipment tracking, and delivery coordination. You may disable location access through your device settings, but some app features may not work properly.

8. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate contact and shipment details
• Use the app only for lawful purposes
• Do not ship prohibited or restricted items
• Ensure shipments are properly packed and compliant with applicable laws

9. Prohibited Items

Users must not ship items including but not limited to:

• Illegal goods
• Hazardous materials
• Explosives or dangerous substances
• Restricted or government-controlled items

10. Limitation of Liability

TruckYou is not liable for delays, damages, or failures caused by external factors such as traffic, weather, incorrect shipment details, or improper packaging.

11. Data Protection

Your data is handled in accordance with the TruckYou Privacy Policy. By using the app, you consent to the collection and use of information for service operation, account management, shipment processing, and payment verification.

12. Service Availability

TruckYou may suspend or interrupt services temporarily for maintenance, upgrades, or technical reasons. We will try to minimize service disruptions whenever possible.

13. Account Suspension or Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or misuse the platform.

14. Changes to Terms

TruckYou may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the app after updates means you accept the revised terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.
